This project was intended to learn about a typeface and how to sketch letterforms. Additionally, I researched the typeface Clarendon, which is most well-known for its use in American Old West Wanted posters. I enjoyed exploring this typeface and hand-drawing one of the Clarendon letterforms. I chose the alternative "a" character to learn all the details that go into that letterform.
This project was intended to create a typographic book cover using only one pop color. Making a book cover taught me how to create designs wrapped around an object.
